What to Expect: Facials

What really goes into the greatness of a facial experience at Lumi Skin Bar? A little nervous or curious what an in person facial will actually be like?- let’s do a simple breakdown of how your visit will go!

When arriving through our front doors, our front desk will greet you and walk you through checking in- using the iPad at the desk, you’re able to check yourself in anytime you’re in, as well as complete any pre appointment paperwork. Our team will give you a quick tour to make you familiar with our space so you can make yourself feel at home in our space! Once you’re familiar, you’ll take a seat in our lounge and your Facialist will come get you once your appointment time starts.

To begin your facial treatment, you’ll be seated by your Facialist at our open concept bar (or private room, depending on your treatment of choice). We always begin our facials with a consultation to discuss any goals for the appointment. This is a great time to let your Facialist know anything and everything you feel like you want to share to help them customize everything to your exact needs. Your Facialist will follow the consultation with hands on skin assessment, as well as take pre treatment photos (dont worry!- these pictures are for you and your provider to reflect back on so we can track your progess, we won’t share them without permission ever!)

Once you and the Facialist have confirmed the perfect treatment plan, they’ll step away for just a moment to select treatment tools + mix any custom treatment products in our skincare dispensary. When they return, you’ll lay back and relax with a cozy blanket while they deep cleanse, exfoliate and decongest, mask, and prep the skin to all your skincare needs!

Each facial may include different steps, targeted to your skin goals.

Once complete, our Facialists will go over post care needs, what they recommend to continue your skin journey, and may recommend products that will improve on your skin goals. We always prioritize education & recommendation so you’re left with the proper information to decide what’s best for you & your skin!

From there, you’ll be guided back to our desk, where our front desk coordinators will walk you through checkout + schedule out your future treatments.
